POSITION OVERVIEW:

The company is scaling their CPG Analytics Practice and are seeking a strategic, business-savvy consultant focused on Revenue Growth Management (RGM). The ideal candidate brings over 10 years of total experience, including at least 5 years within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. We are seeking a deep expertise in the strategic levers of RGM including trade promotion optimization, pricing analytics, price-pack architecture, assortment optimization, and trade spend architecture.

This role requires a structured thinker with strong communication skills and a proven ability to translate data into actionable commercial strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and lead strategic projects across all areas of Revenue Growth Management including trade promotion optimization, pricing strategy, and pack/assortment architecture.
  • Provide thought leadership on the structure and effectiveness of promotional events, trade spend allocation, and ROI frameworks.
  • Work closely with RGM leadership to shape, refine, and support the execution of long-term revenue growth strategies.
  • Translate complex data sets into clear, strategic insights that drive top-line growth and margin improvement.
  • Partner with client teams and cross-functional stakeholders to align on RGM strategy, define roadmaps, and guide execution.
  • Use syndicated data sources such as Nielsen, IRI, or other POS data platforms to perform analysis and inform recommendations.
  • Lead workshops, presentations, and working sessions with client teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to capability building in RGM analytics and strategy.

 

PREFERRED PROFILE:



  • 10+ years of total experience, with a minimum of 5 years in the CPG industry in roles related to strategy, RGM, commercial excellence, or consulting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in:
  • Trade Promotion Optimization
  • Pricing Analytics
  • Price-Pack Architecture
  • Assortment Optimization
  • Strategic Revenue Management techniques
  • Trade Spend Architecture and Promotional ROI
  • Strong familiarity with POS and syndicated data platforms such as Nielsen, IRI, and retailer-specific datasets.
  • Exceptional skills in developing executive decks, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities, capable of synthesizing insights and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with a consulting mindset and experience structuring complex business challenges.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
