VP of Sales
COMPANY OVERVIEW:
Our client is developing computer-use agents to enable AI automation of complex enterprise workflows end-to-end. This is achieved through state-of-the-art Vision Language Action Models, orchestrated through an agentic harness that delivers both high accuracy and compute efficiency.
It was founded by experienced entrepreneurs who collectively started and built companies that were acquired by Tesla, Nvidia, Synopsys, and other leading enterprises.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a VP of Sales & Strategic Accounts to lead customer relationships, strategic accounts, and market development in the US and/or India and related enterprise channels. This person should be a polished senior operator who has spent years with enterprise customers, understands automation-led transformation, and can credibly engage CXOs, business process owners, IT leaders, and delivery organizations.
This is not a purely advisory or networking role. The right person will identify the right accounts, open senior conversations, shape automation opportunities, guide pilots, help close deals, and work closely with a senior technical solutions engineer or automation developer who can build customer-specific solutions.
The goal is to create a strong India pod: an executive who owns relationships, commercial strategy, and customer trust, paired with a technical builder who can rapidly develop demos, proofs of concept, and production-ready automations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Open strategic doors: Use your network across enterprise buyers, automation leaders, global capability centers, IT services firms, BPOs, and transformation organizations to create high-quality customer conversations.
- Own executive relationships: Build trusted relationships with CXOs, business unit leaders, operations leaders, CIO/CTO teams, and automation centers of excellence.
- Shape automation opportunities: Identify workflows where the company can deliver clear business value, especially processes that span multiple tools, teams, and systems.
- Lead account strategy: Qualify opportunities, define stakeholders, navigate buying committees, sequence pilots, and create a practical path from first meeting to paid engagement.
- Partner with technical delivery: Work side by side with a senior solutions engineer or automation developer to translate customer pain into demos, prototypes, and deployment plans.
- Guide customer discovery: Run workshops that uncover current-state process friction, success metrics, systems involved, security requirements, and operational constraints.
- Support deal execution: Help prepare customer proposals, executive summaries, pilot plans, ROI narratives, and stakeholder-specific messaging.
- Build ecosystem leverage: Develop relationships with partners, system integrators, automation consultants, and enterprise services firms that can help reach more customers.
- Represent: Be a senior face of the company in India, with the judgment to protect trust, avoid overpromising, and build a long-term reputation.
PREFERRED PROFILE:
- Experience: 15+ years in enterprise sales, professional services, customer success, business transformation, automation consulting, strategic accounts, or P&L leadership.
- RPA and automation background: Deep familiarity with RPA, intelligent automation, process transformation, process mining, enterprise workflow automation, or AI-led business transformation. Experience with Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism, Power Automate, Celonis, ServiceNow, SAP, Salesforce, Workday, or similar ecosystems is highly relevant.
- Enterprise network: Strong relationships across Indian enterprises, global capability centers, IT services firms, BPOs, or multinational customer operations.
- Executive presence: Able to command trust with senior buyers while also engaging the operational teams who understand process details.
- Commercial judgment: Able to qualify real opportunities, frame business value, shape pilots, identify budget owners, and help move deals toward closure.
- Delivery judgment: Understands what it takes to move from a slideware idea to a working automation, including process definition, security review, data access, user acceptance, and change management.
- Partner mindset: Comfortable working closely with a technical counterpart, giving clear customer context, and helping turn prototypes into repeatable customer solutions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication; able to write crisp follow-ups, account plans, executive briefs, and customer-facing proposals.
PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES:
- Prior senior role at an RPA, intelligent automation, enterprise SaaS, IT services, BPO, process transformation, or consulting company.
- Experience owning revenue, strategic accounts, professional services, customer experience, partner channels, or transformation programs.
- Credibility in sectors such as BFSI, telecom, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, logistics, public sector, or global shared services.
- Existing relationships with automation centers of excellence, CIO organizations, operations leaders, and transformation teams.
- Ability to work in an early-stage startup environment where the playbook is being built while deals are being developed.
- Interest in the shift from traditional RPA to agentic automation and large action models for enterprise workflows.
- High integrity, strong follow-through, and the maturity to balance customer ambition with what can be delivered reliably.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
- Within 30 days, you understand the positioning, can explain our cross-tool automation approach, and have identified a focused list of high-potential accounts and partner relationships.
- Within 60 days, you are running senior customer conversations, shaping pilot opportunities, and pairing effectively with the technical solutions lead to build credible demos and proof-of-concept plans.
- Within 90 days, you have created qualified pipeline, advanced at least one serious pilot or paid opportunity, and established a repeatable account-development motion
