POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Civil Engineering Assistant Project Manager in their Columbus, OH office, you’ll work with project teams to create land development plans for our commercial, institutional, and energy clients. You’ll take part in designing site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities. By interacting with clients, contractors, and local government officials, you’ll impact the entire project—from the conceptual and design phases through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction.
PREFERRED PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
- 5+ years of civil engineering experience; or a relevant combination of experience and education; to include: site layout, grading, stormwater, and erosion and sedimentation control design
- Engineering in Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification and ability/desire to obtain Professional Engineering License (P.E.)
- Practical experience with technical software and Civil Engineering technology, including AutoCAD-Civil 3D and Hydrologic and Hydraulic modeling software
- Interest in participating in internal and external client- and professional-development-based organizations
- Demonstrate excellent communication, mentoring, and time management skills
