After several successful individual contributor searches, Sensience asked Artemis to find their next Director of FP&A.

The Challenge

While the typical FP&A role is focused on reporting up an organization and satisfying corporate requirements, the role with Sensience was going to also provide insights to the business managers as well. They wanted someone to help understand the key levers that drive business and quickly identify problems within product lines. The breadth of responsibilities was unique and made this role impactful in their organization.

 

Our Action

Sensience was in the midst of relocating the executive team to a new office in Columbus, OH. They required the team to be in office a few days a week. The team at Artemis went to work identifying all the candidates within the area. After sourcing 100 candidates for the opportunity, 20 candidates were engaged and qualified. From that pool, 8 candidates were submitted for consideration, 6 of which started the interview process.

End Results

From those 6 candidates, Sensience identified their top candidate (which was presented 14 days into the search) and was able to fill the position within 35 days.
